Guardian Program

At Gold Point Pups we believe that every dog deserves to have a loving, forever home. All of our dogs are part of our family and live in our home rather than kennels so that we know they are getting as much attention as possible. Because of this we have decided to offer a Guardian Home Program. A Guardian Home is a permanent home for one of our breeding males or females.

Becoming a Guardian Home gives you the opportunity to have one of our top notch, "Pick of the Litter" puppies as a family pet. Rather than buying this puppy you will be given the puppy at a little or no cost depending on the litter. She/He will be returned at the end of his/her breeding career (3-5 litters or up to the age of 6 for females & up to the age of 7 for males). Gold Point Retrievers will retain ALL breeding rights. We reserve the right to cancel our guardianship program at anytime if we deem necessary. Once retired, he/she will be neutered/spayed at our expense and returned back to you.

If you are a Guardian for one of our females you will be compensated $100 a puppy each litter once her puppies go home. If you are a Guardian for one of our males you will be compensated $150 for each litter he studs. You are welcome to schedule a visit with the female while she is with us and play with the puppies!

As a Guardian Home you will be required to pay for the everyday expenses of owning a dog including annual exams, vaccines, food, etc. We will pay for all breeding related costs including health testing.

SOME REQUIREMENTS:

• Live within 2 hours of Manheim, Pa
• If there are different gender dogs in the home, they have to be fixed
• Feed a quality food and have pregnancy safe preventatives
• Be very good with communication
• Have a fenced in yard
